Pretty but cool.
Opal & I went to the grocery. Opal worked on her rug a while this afternoon. Mrs. Dobbs’ mother and brother were here.

About my little diary project
My goal is to post entries from the diaries and journals of my ancestors, willing friends and family, myself, and found public sources like a diary my godmother found in a Kentucky resale shop. I want to organize them by writer, date, and where possible, geographic location. The reason: I want to honor and create a shared, minimally curated source of daily accounts of life from ordinary people. If you’d like to participate, contact me for guidelines.
Love this project! “Ordinary” lives are always extraordinary. Rock on, dear friend!
Maybe I will work on my rug a while, this afternoon. No really, I am making a rug.
Aww, gee, thanks for the mention. Good detective work, noticing the erasure. I have some good letters from my Dad, but no diaries. I adore these snippets from “ordinary” lives. I think they are extraordinary.
